+ How do I confirm a session?

A £75 deposit is payable to secure your pre-booked slot, which is then deducted from the package you chose. If you scroll down you will find full pricing information. Once you have booked, you will receive a pre-shoot information guide in PDF format.

+ When should I book my session?

If you would like your images in time for your child’s first birthday celebrations, you will need to book a date approximately 4-6 weeks before the big day to allow time for editing and the delivery of your digital files & any prints.

+ Where will the session take place?

I have a beautiful, mobile studio set up that I can create in your home, or mine.

+ What can I expect from the session?

For a first birthday session, I aim to get a vide variety of images of your baby on their own, using any sentimental items you have brought & also some beautiful portraits with you. If your package allows I recommend an outfit change at some point to ensure you get the most from your session.

For a cake smash shoot, the beginning of the session is a mini portrait shoot which incorporates sentimental items you have brought from home. I will also get a few shots of you & your baby, before the mess begins. We then move on the fun, cake smash part of the session. Again, if your package allows I recommend an outfit change at this point to ensure you get the most from your session.

+ Will I get to chose the theme?

Absolutely! We’ll work together to create a custom theme for the shoot to ensure the images are really personal to you & your baby.

+ Do you provide the cake?

I don’t provide the cake for the shoot as many little ones suffer from different allergies, so I’ve found it easier for clients to provides cakes they are comfortable with. I do provide you with some tips on the right type of cake and icing for the best ‘smash’ as your baby dives in.

+ What do you provide for the set up?

I can provide balloons, paper pom poms, bunting, wooden letters spelling ‘one’ & ‘two’ and bubbles.

+ Can my child’s older sibling be included in the session?

I will always do my best to include any older siblings in a few photos from the session. If you would like more than this, we can discuss a bespoke fee or adding on a child photo session.

+ What happens if my baby is ill?

If your little one is poorly then we will reschedule the shoot. There’s no point going ahead, as you want to treasure your photographs for a long time afterwards. If your child is unwell please just give me as much notice as possible when cancelling the shoot.

+ What happens if our baby scratches his/her cheek the night before our shoot?

This shouldn’t be too much of a problem. As long as the scratch in an area that isn’t too difficult to retouch, I can remove most minor imperfections in post-production.

+ How long after the session can we see our images?

You can see your full set of edited images, via an online, password protected viewing gallery, within two weeks of your shoot.

+ Can I buy a session for a family member or friend as a gift?

Absolutely! A baby milestone photography session is a wonderful gift, which lasts a lifetime. The recipient will receive a personalised letter & gift voucher. For last minute gifts, I can email you a gift letter & voucher to send electronically.
