My natural pregnancy photography takes place in your home, or at a pretty, outdoor setting. For a beautiful selection of images of you, your bump & your partner that capture your family story from the very beginning. Wherever your shoot takes place, I create relaxed maternity portraits that feel authentic to you. Being pregnant is a miracle & whilst the nine months of pregnancy can appear to last forever, they will seem like a distant dream within days of your baby arriving. It’s a fleeting time but such a beautiful one to document. I love to create beautiful images which capture the feeling of being pregnant & the emotion surrounding the anticipation of the wonderful future ahead of you.
A Family Affair
I love to include your partner & older children to create some beautiful, family-orientated images where you can show your love for each other as well as your unborn baby. No matter if this is your first or fourth pregnancy, it is always the beginning of a new chapter in your family story. Let’s capture this moment in time, with sweet, happy portraits full of affection. I’ve even had much loved dogs become part of a shoot!

My aim is for your shoot to be a happy, fun & laid-back experience where we create timeless memories. FAQ’s
+ How many weeks should I be when I have my session?
Maternity sessions are ideally done between 30- 34 weeks. At this point in your pregnancy you will have a beautiful, round bump but won’t be feeling too heavy or close to the end of your pregnancy. However, this is just a guide & the timing can altered to suit you.
+ How soon should I schedule?
I recommend booking your maternity shoot soon after your 20 week scan if possible, as my weekend dates book up well in advance. But it’s never to late to get in touch as I can sometimes accommodate a last minute session, if another booking has moved.
+ How can I confirm the date I want?
A £75 deposit is payable to secure your pre-booked slot, which is then deducted from the package you choose. Scroll down for full pricing information. Once you have booked you will receive a pre-shoot information guide in PDF format.
+ What should I wear?
The important thing is that you feel comfortable and beautiful, so wear what makes you feel great. Anything that accentuates your pregnant belly works best for the pictures. Stretchy or lace materials are perfect & floaty dresses can be stunning.
If you plan on having any pictures exposing your bump it’s best to avoid any tight clothing with elastic that could mark your skin, for at least two hours prior to your session.
During your consultation phone call, we will discuss the style of shoot you want & what to wear, in much further detail.
+ I feel self conscious in front of the camera, what can you do to make me feel comfortable?
The majority of my clients feel the same which is why I prefer a natural style of maternity photography without a lot of props & posing. I don’t want you to feel pressure to look at the camera all the time. The shoot will be a fun experience, where you can just be yourself.
I want you to feel beautiful & relaxed during the shoot but it’s also so important you treasure your final images. So sensitive, discreet retouching is included on all edited images, to ensure you love your maternity pictures.
+ How long until I get to see my images?
You will be able to view a password protected online gallery of your final, edited images within two weeks of your shoot date.
+ What if I would like to ask for a further touch up on a final image?
I want you to be completely satisfied with your maternity photography, so additional touch ups are also included in your session fee or package.
+ Do I have to tell you in advance what products I want to order?
Clients are very welcome to pre-order but it is best to see the images from the shoot before you make a decision on any products you may wish to buy. Certain images will suit certain products and you won’t be able to make an informed decision until you can see the entire set of images.
+ Are we obliged to buy anything else after the shoot?
No, not at all. There is no obligation to buy any products after the shoot unless you want to.
+ Can I buy a session for family or a friend as a gift?
Absolutely! A maternity photography session is a wonderful gift, which lasts a lifetime. The recipient will receive a personalised letter & gift voucher. For last minute gifts, I can email you a gift letter & voucher to send electronically.
